Artist's Comments
I can't say I enjoyed this as much as I thought I would, but it gets the job done.
The lineart was done about two weeks ago (I think, don't quote me on that), but the paint work was from today and yesterday. Most of it today. I'm pretty sure this totals up to about 8 or 9 hours or so. Give or take a bit. And yes, I used Photoshop. I shoulda used Painter, it would have blended tones better I think, but oh well - in the end an art program is an art program. Advice is always welcome, but the deadline for the image is tomorrow morning so anything really helpful would be best received sooner than later. Though I can always change it later for my own personal use. The true purpose of this was to have an 11x14inch print for doing conventions - though I'll be using it elsewhere, I'll make that announcement with some snazzy good info in a week or two in my journal.
