I had absolutely no confidence on this picture, I thought it would turn out horrible - but nooOOoo it surprised both me and the art director apparently.

Shows what I know.

Anyway, it was pitched to me as Satan Incarnate.... but as a snake like giant wormy creature. It was really hard to fully understand if I should be enthused over it.... when I think Satan incarnate I definitely don't think of wormy things.

Oddly enough it became just about my favorite of the set. I'd do prints if I thought anybody wanted a slimy vile wormy satan thing on their wall.

I mean... I would.... but I have no taste to begin with....

:faint: :omg:

Wow. That's just...amazing.

I love the vibrant red. Very nice in contrast to the dark nature of the picture.

Это наш знак. Это знак войны.
Very nice, really like the lighting on this one.
As simple as the color choices are, this gives off some pretty sweet mood.

You shall shed tears of scarlet.
I guess I must not have any taste either, because I like it and would put it on my wall!
I especially like the little oozey guy in the bottom left, I think it's his expression.
I kinda had fun with the fast lil expressions. At a certain point of exhaustion you start to add little things that you may not otherwise, and I think this time it added a bit.

Thanks!

Simon recommended them to me.... I didn't think they'd look very good, but I do like to at least try the recommendations of the people paying me. So it was a definite surprise to have it actually look right with such a limited color scheme. Personally I would have taken it another direction.... but it likely wouldn't have had such an interesting effect.

Thanks, it was recommended by the man who commissioned me. I think he nailed that one on the nosey. It was nice to have a piece that came together the right way so quickly when so many others fought the process.

I do love reds. It may be a weakness of mine at this point actually. A lot of my pieces have been very red oriented lately. But I think it was a good choice made by the client.

You have no taste? The giant wormy thing disagrees - it thinks you have great taste! :D
