Artist's Comments

Okay, second attempt.

I need your opinions guys and gals. Many of you know my work and those who don't...well that's not surprising ;)

Question: Would you rather see this image rendered in pencil or digitally? I haven't done the pencil work in month's but it is almost a specialty from me since I grew up with it. Digital is fairly new for me, but people seem to like the effect.

Basically I'm letting you all be involved on this image. So many artists just leave it to their own little whims and that's the end of it, you like it or you hate it. So what say you all?

The basis is this - I've got this question on several communities so the highest vote counts. Let me know!

Well, I can always color this on my own and see if you'll like it :D
I like your drawings, their mostly related to Dungeons and Dragons. I just recently bought the new issue and it talks about Prestige classes for Assasins and among other things.

Color all you like, although next time you see the update will be a week at the latest and it will be finished. Finished in pencil or digital? That's your guys' call ^_^

But yes, you can color any version I put up here ;)

(Mmmm prestige classes are nice)

There is no honor in lieing, there is no honor in betraying, there is no honor in attacking, there is no honor in this world. I intend to change that

Hmm, difficult, this pic looks so great already! I say go with the pencil work,
The image is really detailed, and deserves really detailed colouring!

Is he about to be assasinated?
:iconlil-mike:
 Indeed, prestige classes are yummy.

(c'est Mirolan, from the UCM! :D) I say, do both if you have the time. I mean, even if you go for pencil, you have it saved on the computer already now. Keep a copy on the puter until you finish the pencil, and if you're not happy with it, digi-fy it. XD Either way, the detail makes me cry with envy. My personal feeling is that it looks so much like a...story illustration or something, color would be quite interesting. Good luck! ^^

pencil! It'll give it a more traditional feel that should go better with the theme of the picture.

i think a really detailed inking would look great, and im sure you could nail it with the colors, that tree you did was amazing. Anyways yeah, my vote would be for the digital colors and comic style inks. the picture itself looks great.

I certainly would if I could, sadly with my new job I'm pressed for time. For now, it's one or the other.
